Research & Development
focused on your brand & vision
. . . . . . Since the early the 1990’s, Ottersbrook directors have been fully operational within the construction sector’s dynamic ‘R&D Ecosystem’. We have been active across a significant mixture of materials, technologies, services, regulations, standards, and policy development activities. We work with many influencers whenever continual improvement or guidance, is sought for best practice delivery. We are also a published government support partner for R&D . . . . . .
At Ottersbrook we have honorary research professor and industry advisory board member positions, at the University of Salford, where significant full scale (and unique) property testing is carried out (Energy House II). Salford is without doubt, one of the world’s leading authorities on building pathology, especially in the area of energy use in buildings.
We also provide support for technical standards and guidance development in the UK (e.g. PAS 8700 MMC Guidance and NHBC Technical Standards (Section 11 - MMC) and there are currently a number of events promoting and presenting these important developments, for implementing organic and disruptive innovation technologies. We work with many UK based universities, governments, technical institutes, best practice collaborations and round tables, technical & testing standards committees, and also, within building regulatory forums, whenever continual improvement or guidance is sought. Backed by our testing and certification prowess, Ottersbrook can assure you of a very skilful R&D process management service.
