Ottersbrook is pleased to confirm that Mike Ormesher, General Manager and Director, has been selected to join an industry panel supporting the UK’s Industrialising & Digitalising Construction challenge, led through the UKRI Mission Accelerator Programme.
This panel, referenced in Melissa Zanocco OBE’s announcement, brings together leading figures from across the built environment to shape the next phase of industrialised construction in the UK. The initiative itself is a nationally significant programme aimed at transforming how the UK designs and delivers housing and infrastructure through digitally enabled manufacturing, standardisation and improved coordination across the supply chain.
Its ambition is to improve productivity, reduce waste, strengthen supply chains and deliver better-performing buildings at scale—supporting a sector worth over £250 billion annually.
For Ottersbrook, this appointment reflects our continued commitment to advancing compliant, scalable and risk-managed industrialised construction, and to contributing practical, delivery-focused expertise into national programmes that are shaping the future of the built environment.
Mike’s involvement ensures that real-world experience—across compliance, certification, manufacturing integration and delivery—remains central to the development of this emerging delivery model.
