The COMPASS platform is a secure online project‑management system developed by Ottersbrook in partnership with our digital platform provider. Registered team members can access it Compass from anywhere they work, globally.
COMPASS is designed to support both Innovation Management and Business Strategy Management within a single structured environment. The system enables organisations to define strategic objectives, manage innovation programmes, assign responsibilities, monitor performance, track risks and opportunities, and provide an auditable framework for informed decision-making and continuous improvement. The system can deliver single programmes of work or full company strategy right down to individual project teams and programmes. Whether you are trying to align your strategy with department heads, or run a technical programme of work, COMPASS can handle both together, individually or seamlessly at different stages of deployment.
Built on over 38 years of project‑management experience, and grounded in methodologies such as Hoshin Kanri (HK/PDCA) and Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS), the platform ensures confidentiality through your designated administrators. Training is provided by Ottersbrook and, when needed, with our online training partner and system architects. Once onboarded and approved, users can log in directly or via this website.

Security - The system and platform are supported by two‑factor authentication and full compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 27018, SOC 2 (Type 2), GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, SSO and SCIM tools and standards. The platform secures data with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
